So I hopped into one of those shared car services when I got out of the airport to head home. Usually they take a couple people back but since I came in on a late flight, I was one of the only few that needed a ride. It's usually cheaper than a cab but often at times very sketchy on who's driving these cars. Take example tonight. I hopped into the car and first thing I notice was an open bottle of smirnoff ice in the front seat. Guy looks ok, some big black dude, but I'd expect something stronger than smirnoff ice from him. I tell him where to go and then make small chit-chat with him. By this time I'm pretty exhausted and don't really notice him driving in the middle of two lanes. The guy's booking it too driving like 80 on a 50mph. I don't think he's ever been in my neck of the woods, so he was slowing down a bit and taking a look around at the surroundings as if I'm on some Hollywood bus tour. At least he got me home in record time and in one piece, but I think my heart skipped a beat or two. Man, it's good to be back haha.
